JASON HICKLIN

Jason Hicklin was born in 1966 and graduated from St Martin’s in 1988
and the Central School of Art in 1993.
He was elected a member of the Royal Society of Painters and Printmakers in 1993 and is currently a lecturer of Printmaking at City and Guilds Art School in London. His last solo show at the North House Gallery was in 2000.
This work is part of a project originally started in 1995 to visually map the coastline and estuaries of the British Isles. The etchings, paintings and drawings in this exhibition were made in the last eighteen months and record walks and weather on the Isle of Skye, Northumbria, Yorkshire and Suffolk.
